I Should Have Known

Advice to all women — listen to your own first instincts!! So I met this guy I call Leonardo at eHarmony, I let my guard down and sleep with him on only the second date — and all along this little voice in the back of my mind was telling me that something was wrong. I didn’t know what it was, but something about him was just too evasive. I should have heeded my attorney-to-be instincts. I finally got out of him what his company does — he owns porn sites!! Ewwwww. I give him points for coming clean finally, and he definitely appeared very nervous when he finally admitted this. I could also tell he could immediately sense my disapproval.

He is cute, wealthy and actually a nice guy — but I’m not going to date some guy who sells porn. OMG, my mom would just die if she ever found out I slept with some porn peddler. So, Leonardo is out. Luckily, Gordon called me again and I have a date set up with him. If he only knew what I just went through I wonder if he’d still want to take me out! Well now I have a story to tell friends years from now, but I’m not telling anyone about this now. Ewwwwww!

I had a similar experience. Seeing a guy and he was reluctant to tell me his last name. I eventually learned why. Though he was a successful business man, he was also a convicted felon. Committed a pretty serious crime years before we met.

    Any ideas?
    |I’m already dating a guy from work and we have a great relationship except that nobody at work knows and there are rumors about me dating other guys at work. They know I’m dating but because I don’t say who they speculate and that’s how rumors start. They also tell my bf that he should date so and so. Anyway, what would be the pros of letting people know who am I dating and what would be the cons?
