Hi, it’s Corey here

On my last post I described signing up at eHarmony and filling out their ridiculously long questionnaire and completing my profile. I was contacted by quite a few of my matches, but only responded to two which had stood out. I decided to call the first one on here (using real names wouldn’t be that classy of me) Leonardo because I thought his pictures on his profile were very cute, and the other I am calling Gordon (Gecko) because he is an MBA student. So I must say that the initial contacting process that eHarmony has devised is quite annoying. What is up with these multiple questions? Is this a mid-term, or is it a dating site? OK, enough ranting — I am sure there is some method to eHarmony‘s madness.

So I finally got into open communication with both Gordon and Leonardo, and Leonardo was the first to ask for my number. I actually just got off the phone with him — and we are meeting up tomorrow night. He’s 28 and he says he owns his own business. I’m actually not quite sure what type of business, when I inquired he gave a confusing answer about something having to do with distribution and licensing of online content blah blah. To tell you the truth, much of that stuff flies over my head — which is why I am dubious about my other prospect Gordon the MBA student. So I’m glad that Leonardo called first. Well, I’ll update everyone after my first date with “Leonardo” — wish me luck!
